Eric Stollnitz

Eric brings to Zag Studio his passion for 2D and 3D computer graphics and his expertise in interactive software development. He has a PhD in Applied Math with a focus on graphics, which comes in handy when Zag’s solving particularly challenging mathematical or algorithmic problems.

Eric has worked for Microsoft for more than 10 years. He currently works on cutting-edge techniques for image-based rendering and visualization at Microsoft Research, and before that he helped build Expression Blend from the ground up. Before he worked for Microsoft, Eric helped develop the geometry libraries that power Autodesk’s Maya and AliasStudio.

Like Bea, Eric loves travelling and cooking. He also enjoys playing volleyball and riding his motorcycle.
